The art of rework..

Fresh out of a marathon writing session with a great outlook on the direction the band is taking to rework the old material and the vision of the new material. The tracks that have been posted both here and Vinnie C’s profile do not and will not sound the same. Working each piece of each song with precision, every note in the right spot, is changing the face of the material and I personally have to say I love it.
We will continue working out the rest of our tracks as well as working out our live show set in the next coming weeks and hope to be booking by the end of September so you can see first hand.
Vinnie C. also has posted a slew of solo dates, which include another show for Capital Underground, 104.9 the edge hosted by Ralph renna. It’s been since March since the last one and its well over due. Check those dates at www.myspace.com/myacousticsuicide

Also head on over to www.musicagainstallodds.com and www.aftermathband.com and sign your sexy asses up on the mailing list, and to learn more about the band, the record, and the documentary.

Until then, everything is like butterflies!!!

August 2009 - Regroup & Welcome

Aftermath regrouped last night at our 3rd rehearsal space in as many months. The summer has been busy with Vinnie C. joining Nixons spirit for a few show dates as well as bringing Chris Capadozzy along with him in this project.

Vinnie C. left Nixons Spirit to continue working out the thought to be demise of Aftermath. However, Skeptics be warned, the new aftermath line-up not only breeds chemistry but the guys are hungry. Working through the regular track listing, adding a few covers to break up the workload, as we’ll as dabbling in some new riffs, aftermath is poised to kick some ass.

Trace Hilt ex bass player of Junkhead has joined forces once again with vinnie c. and will be taking on the bass work for aftermath. Yesterday was the first rehearsal with trace and it seemed like he was in the band the whole time.

Chris Willette of Son of Mourning graced us with hi guitar sty lings last night and trucked through each track like he wrote the song from the beginning. Throwing out some sludgy riffs for the rest of the band to accompany him was a great stat to getting all of the blood flowing in the band.

The two newest members of the band along with Tommy Tucker and Vinnie C. are finally geared up and ready to go.  More updates on the band will be posted here so keep checking back!!!

Sstop by and leave a comment and welcome both Trace and Chris to the band!
